Helheim Hassle: A Macabre Adventure Game

Helheim Hassle is a narrative adventure game developed by Perfectly Paranormal for the Play Station 4. This game is set on the same Tuesday as Manual Samuel, a previous hit from the same universe. In Helheim Hassle, you play as Bjørn, a pacifist Viking who hates the idea of dying and going to Valhalla. However, he ends up dying and gets taken to Valhalla. Bjørn is resurrected to assist with a task for the mysterious Pesto and sees a way to negotiate his way out.

The game is as much about friendship as it is about body parts. Using Bjørn’s undying corpse with its ability to detach and combine limbs at will, players must solve challenging puzzles and navigate tricky levels to retrieve a certain magical item. In return, Pesto will try to grant Bjørn a permanent residence in Helheim. The game consists of 14 levels, 90+ puzzles, and 80+ interactable characters. The game features 3,700 lines of spoken dialogue performed by 24 professional actors.

Overall, Helheim Hassle is a unique and macabre adventure game that offers a fresh take on the genre. The game's quirky humor and challenging puzzles make it an enjoyable experience for adventure game enthusiasts.
